Our mission is to operate, manage, exploit and develop the National Natural Gas System (NNGS) and its interconnections, in a technically proper and cost-effective way, to best serve its Users with safety, reliability and sufficiency.
Featuring high level of expertise and extensive experience, DESFA develops critical infrastructure and provides a wide range of high quality integrated services, facilitating the proper conditions for the development of the Greek and European natural gas market.
In this context, DESFA advances in strategic partnerships with leading European Managers to strengthen the interconnectivity of NNGS and the European networks through the creation of regional energy corridors for natural gas.
In terms of economic, social and environmental sustainability and based on a continuous and transparent dialogue with all interested parties, DESFA implements an important investment program for the completion of projects and infrastructures of national importance, contributing significantly to employment creation, strengthening the competitiveness of the Greek economy and aiding the development of the country.
