According to the provisions of article 91 of the Network Code DESFA performed the NNGS Development Study for the years 2018-2027.
The study includes:
Α) Τhe forecasts of the Transmission System Operator (TSO) for the development of Natural Gas demand for the entire country for the next decade, per administrative region and per category of Users, as well as for the maximum daily and hourly demand per year.
B) The estimates of the TSO concerning the possibilities to cover such demand in a cost effective and reliable way using the existing and new sources of Natural Gas Supply, including the LNG sources, as well as the necessary investments in order to achieve this goal.
C) The estimates of the TSO for the cost of the necessary investments for the development of NNGS and evaluation of the impact of the new Capital Expenditure on the NNGS tariffs.
